These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the z-image.ai platform ("z-image.ai", "we", "our", "the Service"). By accessing or using z-image.ai, you ("you", "the user") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. Overview of the Service
z-image.ai is an AI-powered image-generation platform that allows users to input text prompts and receive generated image outputs. The Service includes:
- A web-based interface
- A credit-based usage system
- Moderation and safety filtering
- Cloud-based model execution using z-image.ai's proprietary models (e.g., z-image.ai-Turbo, z-image.ai-Edit when available)
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use z-image.ai. By using the Service, you represent that:
- You meet the minimum age requirement
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
- You will comply with all applicable laws
3. Account Registration
Some features require creating an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials
- Take responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information.
4. AI Wrapper Disclaimer (Required)
Z-Image.ai is an independent image-generation platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any external AI model provider or technology vendor.
Any references to AI models, architectures, or research are purely descriptive. All trademarks and model names belong to their respective owners.
z-image.ai provides:
- A proprietary interface
- Custom workflows
- Our own inference and safety systems
- Our own image-generation models
We do not resell or redistribute third-party proprietary AI models.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Follow our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
- Follow our Content Moderation Policy
- Refrain from attempts to bypass model safeguards
- Not misuse, overload, or interfere with the Service
Your use of z-image.ai must comply with:
- Local laws
- International regulations
- Intellectual property and privacy laws
6. Prohibited Uses
Users may not generate, upload, or distribute content that:
- Is sexual, pornographic, or involves nudity
- Depicts minors in any harmful or sexual context (zero tolerance)
- Involves graphic violence, gore, or self-harm
- Contains hate speech, extremist ideology, or harassment
- Encourages illegal or dangerous activities
- Violates copyright, trademarks, or publicity rights
- Uses likenesses of real individuals without permission
- Attempts to generate harmful deepfakes
- Misrepresents affiliation with z-image.ai
- Attempts to reverse engineer, extract, or replicate proprietary systems

7. Generated Content Ownership
7.1 User Ownership
Subject to compliance with these Terms, you own the rights to the images you generate, including commercial usage rights, except where restricted by:
- Copyright violations
- Trademark or likeness violations
- Illegal or harmful content
7.2 z-image.ai Ownership
z-image.ai owns:
- The models (e.g., z-image.ai-Turbo), weights, architecture, and training methods
- The website, UI, infrastructure, and code
- All related intellectual property
You do not obtain any ownership over the underlying technology.
8. Data Usage & Privacy
z-image.ai follows strict privacy practices.
8.1 No Training on User Prompts or Outputs
We do not use user prompts, generated images, or uploaded files to train our models unless you explicitly opt in.
8.2 Minimal Data Retention
z-image.ai does not store your prompts or generated images unless:
- You explicitly save them to your account
- Storage is required for account operation

9. Credits, Pricing & Payments
z-image.ai operates on a credit-based system.
9.1 Credit Purchases
- Credits are consumed when generating images
- Pricing is displayed clearly before purchase
- Credits do not expire unless required by law
9.2 Payment Processing via Creem (MoR)
All payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. This means:
- Taxes are calculated and collected by Creem
- Creem handles invoicing and billing compliance
- z-image.ai does not store payment card information
9.3 Refunds
Refunds follow our Refund Policy, which includes:
- Refunds for duplicate payments
- Refunds for undelivered credits due to system errors
- No refunds for used credits
If we do not respond to a refund request within 3 business days, Creem may issue a refund on our behalf.
10. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable service, but:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime
- We may suspend or limit the Service for maintenance
- Your data may not always be available
- We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party providers
11. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You violate the AUP or Moderation Policy
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You attempt to bypass safety systems
- Required for legal, regulatory, or platform integrity reasons
You may also terminate your account by contacting support.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
We make no warranties about:
- Output accuracy
- Model performance
- Continuous availability
- Error-free operation
AI-generated results may be unpredictable and must be used responsibly.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- z-image.ai is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- z-image.ai is not responsible for losses from service interruptions
- Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations—those rules override these Terms where applicable.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless z-image.ai, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of IP or privacy rights
- Misuse of generated images
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which z-image.ai operates.
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class-action claims against z-image.ai.
16. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
